Overview

Her practice areas cover corporate and commercial law, mergers & acquisitions and maritime and shipping law. She handles transactions involving sale and/or acquisition of vessels or of shares (including shareholders’ agreements, investors’ agreements and memoranda of understanding for vessel’s sale and purchase), mergers and acquisitions and various corporate matters, such as re – domiciliation to and from Cyprus, liquidations of companies, and she advises on estate planning, trust deeds and wills and transactions involving real estate.

Despina graduated from the University of Kent at Canterbury (LLB) and the University College London (LLM in Maritime Law).

She supervises the corporate department as well as the maritime and shipping department.

She was called to the Cyprus Bar Association in 2009. Furthermore, Despina recently completed her Msc in Shipping & Management from the Cyprus University of Technology (TEPAK).
