General meeting of SEDEAK reviews activities and elects new board

The Cyprus Association of Surveying & Market Research Companies (SEDEAK), a member of the Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB), announced that its Annual General Meeting was held on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at the OEB offices in Nicosia.

During the meeting, the activities of the Board of Directors for 2025 were reviewed, financial statements were examined and approved, and key issues related to the operation, role, and future direction of the association were discussed. Emphasis was placed on self-regulation of polls and enhancing sector credibility.

Electoral processes took place for the new Board of Directors for the next two years. The new Board members are:

• President: Christina Kokkalou (IMR)
• Vice President: Lysandros Chatzilambrou (CONREAD RESEARCH)
• Treasurer: Tasos Charalambous (RAI)
• Secretary: Panagiotis Panagiotou (PULSE MARKET RESEARCH)

An honorable mention was given to outgoing President Mrs. Eleni Marangou (CYMAR MARKET RESEARCH) for her contributions. She was awarded the title of Honorary President of the Association in recognition of her service.

SEDEAK continues its efforts to support its members, promote the profession, protect professional reputation, and advance the institution of market research and opinion polls. The new Board commits to ongoing, collective work for the benefit of members and society.
