The European Banking Authority (EBA) has launched a call for papers for its 15th Policy Research Workshop, scheduled to take place in Paris on 18-19 November 2026. The workshop will focus on ‘Efficient and Proportionate Regulation for a Competitive Financial Sector’.
Researchers and economists from supervisory authorities, central banks, and academia are invited to submit policy-oriented, preferably empirical, research papers on topics including competitiveness, efficiency, resilience, innovation, market entry, cross-border growth, and ESG risk integration in governance and strategy.
The deadline for submissions is 19 June 2026. Contributors will be notified by mid-September 2026. Detailed information on topics, the submission process, and the programme committee is available in the call for papers document.
The EBA organizes annual workshops to discuss developments in banking regulation and financial stability, attracting participants from across Europe’s supervisory and academic communities.
