Obligations of construction and demolition waste producers and contractors

The Federation of Employers and Industrialists (OEB) informs its members that the Department of Environment of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment invites all interested parties to apply the provisions of the Waste (Management of Waste from Construction and Demolition) Regulations of 2023 (K.D.P. 112/2023) when announcing tenders and/or executing projects related to technical or building projects.

The proper management of construction and demolition waste (AKK), in accordance with the AKK management plan and the relevant form (KAA 253/2023), is essential for securing the Certificate of Compatibility from the Department of Environment.

If stakeholders fail to ensure proper waste management according to these regulations, the Certificate of Compatibility will not be issued, and significant funds may be lost. Non-compliance with the regulations is an offense.
