Public consultation on the health certificates law of 2026

The Employers & Industrialists Federation (OEB) announces that the Ministry of Health has initiated a public consultation on the proposed bill titled “The Issuance of Health Certificates Law of 2026”.

The bill aims to establish a unified framework for issuing health certificates to employees, professionals, and others requiring such certificates for employment, professional practice, or licensing purposes.

The regulation covers who must hold a health certificate, the issuance procedure, authorized doctors, validity duration, and conditions for suspension or non-issuance.

Members of the public and interested parties can submit comments, observations, and suggestions via the electronic platform e-Consultation. The consultation period is open until Tuesday, 15 September 2026.
