The event was part of the project “Healthy Labor Relations, Modern Enterprises III,” implemented within the framework of the Cohesion Policy Program “THALIA 2021-2027,” with co-financing from the EU.

The meeting focused on employee well-being, including raising awareness about menopause and multiple sclerosis, and promoting safety and health in teleworking environments.

Mr. Michalis Antoniou, General Manager of OEB, opened the event with a review of current labor developments.

Mrs. Machi Solomou, Certified Menopause Champion of the British High Commission, discussed menopause effects on women, its impact on work performance, and presented best practices for employee well-being and empowerment.

Mrs. Georgia Dimofanous, President of the Pancyprian Multiple Support Association, provided information about multiple sclerosis, its manifestations, and supported employees’ well-being through various practices.

Dr. Olga Nikolaidou, Labor Inspection Officer at the Department of Labor Inspection, introduced the online risk assessment tool OiRA, now including risks related to teleworking.
