CSR Cyprus announces new strategy and initiatives for the next decade

CSR Cyprus, a member of the Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB), held its 10th Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Larnaca. The meeting presented the organization’s strategy for the new decade and a comprehensive program of initiatives aimed at increasing value for its members.

To mark its 10th anniversary, CSR Cyprus introduced the program “CSR Cyprus | The New Decade” and the initiative “10 Years – 10 Actions for our Members,” which includes actions to be implemented by the end of 2026. The focus areas are education, international networking, exchange of good practices, and strategic redefinition of the association.

CSR Cyprus announced plans for a member survey to identify needs and priorities, strategic repositioning supported by a specialized consultant, and international educational and networking activities. These include an educational program in Spain, participation in the CSR Europe Annual Summit, webinars, and practical initiatives to increase member value.

The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Social Welfare, Klea Hatzistefanou Papaellina; the Commissioner for Gender Equality, Jozi Christodoulou; the Commissioner for Environment and Animal Welfare, Antonia Theodosiou; and the General Director of OEB, Michalis Antoniou.

CSR Cyprus President Sotiroula Sotiriou stated: “Today we are not only celebrating the first ten years of CSR Cyprus. We are inaugurating the new decade of its course. From the 24 founding members in 2016, today we have 71 members, which proves increasing recognition of sustainability and responsible entrepreneurship. The new decade will be judged by the value we create for our members and for Cypriot society.”
