The Federation of Employers and Industrialists (OEB) announced that the Council of Ministers approved a new De Minimis Sponsorship Scheme on Thursday, November 27, 2025. The scheme supports Cypriot companies participating in foreign trade fairs during 2026, with the Ministry of Finance providing a state pavilion.
The scheme has a budget of €1,700,000 for 2026. It is open to businesses, producer groups, and organizations recognized by the competent authority, active in processing and/or marketing of industrial and agricultural products, as well as related service sectors. The aim is to enhance the international presence of Cypriot companies, increase exports, and penetrate global markets.
The Ministry clarifies that it does not commit to participation if there are insufficient applicants or if the budget is not approved.
