Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation announces public consultation on new RIF funding rules

The Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB) has announced that the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) has opened a public consultation on the draft of new rules for participation in its funding programmes.

The proposed regulations are intended to be implemented through RIF’s new electronic proposal and project management system, scheduled to become operational in 2027.

Stakeholders are invited to review the attached documents and submit their comments, views, and suggestions on the proposed regulations.

Comments should be sent by Monday, March 9, 2026, to mkallis@oeb.org.cy, clearly indicating the relevant section or chapter (from 1 to 9) of the regulations. The OEB will compile and forward the feedback to RIF as part of the consultation process.

Participation is encouraged as the new rules will significantly impact the future framework for funding research, development, and innovation projects.
