The European Banking Authority (EBA) has published the final technical package for version 4.3 of its reporting framework. This package introduces new reporting requirements for Third-Country Branches (TCBs) under the Capital Requirements Directive (CRD) and supports the collection of risk assessment data by the Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA).

The package includes final draft Implementing Technical Standards (ITS) on the supervisory reporting of TCBs, with the first reference date set for March 31, 2027.

It also introduces AMLA risk assessment reporting, including the addition of DPM and taxonomy components to identify entities under AMLA supervision, with a first reference date of December 31, 2026.

Additionally, the EBA has published a new Glossary Usage Exploration file to enhance understanding of the reporting framework. This structured, user-friendly tool helps users explore concepts, definitions, and their relationships within the DPM, facilitating interpretation and impact assessments.

A draft version of this technical package was released on April 17, 2026. The final version incorporates stakeholder feedback. The EBA may issue a targeted update (“hotfix”) at the end of September to address any critical issues identified during early implementation.
