The Joint Bank Reporting Committee (JBRC), jointly established by the European Banking Authority (EBA) and the European Central Bank (ECB), has launched a public call for expressions of interest to join its Reporting Contact Group (RCG).

The RCG is a forum for cooperation, exchange of views, and sharing best practices among stakeholders with expertise in banks’ regulatory reporting. The call is open to candidates across the European Economic Area (EEA). The application deadline is 28 April 2026 (23:59 CEST).

Applications must be submitted via the online form using the password: RCGApril2026. Applicants should include a CV, preferably in Europass format.

Details on the selection process are provided in the Call for candidates document. The JBRC aims to ensure diversity in the banking sector, geographical and gender balance, and broad stakeholder representation across the EEA. Selected applicants will be informed of the outcome, and the final RCG composition will be published on the EBA and ECB websites. A reserve list will also be established.

For further information, contact the RCG Secretariat at ecb-jbrc@ecb.europa.eu and eba-jbrc@eba.europa.eu.

The JBRC was established under a Memorandum of Understanding signed on 18 March 2024, following a feasibility study by the EBA. It promotes cooperation among European supervisory, resolution, and statistical banking authorities and supports the development of an integrated reporting system.

The RCG is a permanent substructure of the JBRC, with up to 22 members appointed for a three-year renewable mandate. Members are expected to dedicate at least one full day per week to RCG activities and possess strong expertise in supervisory, resolution, statistical reporting, or related areas such as data modelling and standardisation. The current mandate expires at the end of 2027.
