Special employment support scheme in the hotel sector

Following the President of the Republic’s announcements on economic support measures due to geopolitical developments in the Middle East, the Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB) informs affected members about the new support scheme.

The Council of Ministers, by Decision dated 26.3.2026, approved the implementation of the Special Employment Support Plan in the Hotel Sector.

Any hotel or tourist accommodation that was operational during 2025 and remains active from April 1 to April 30, 2026 can participate in the scheme.

Businesses that only operate cafes, restaurants, or other activities beyond accommodation are excluded. Also excluded are businesses that only perform maintenance, repair, or similar work not considered part of their usual activities.
