Tax Department extends deadline for VAT return and VIES submission for June 2026 period

The Federation of Employers and Industrialists (OEB) reports that, by decision of the Tax Commissioner, the deadline for the timely submission of the VAT return and payment of VAT due for the period ending on June 30, 2026, as well as the submission of the Summary Table (VIES) for July 2026, has been extended until August 20, 2026.

This extension is granted due to the summer vacation period.

After August 20, 2026, the submission of the VAT return, payment of VAT due, and submission of the VIES summary table will be considered overdue and will be subject to financial charges and additional tax.
