The Federation of Employers and Industrialists (OEB) informs that the Department of Labor Inspection (TEE), responsible for occupational safety and health, has issued an announcement regarding air quality monitoring.
Measurements from the Air Quality Monitoring Network of the Technical Chamber of Greece show very high dust (PM10) concentrations exceeding 200 μg/m3.
According to the Occupational Safety and Health (Code of Practice for the Protection of Persons at Work During Dust Incidents) Decree of 2022 (R.A.A. 410/2022), all outdoor work and activities must be interrupted and rescheduled when such phenomena occur.
The Department of Labor Inspection will continue monitoring air quality levels and will issue a new announcement once concentrations return to normal.
