Update on trade barriers in Australian and UK markets

The Federation of Employers and Industrialists (OEB) informs that the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry is involved in preparing Cyprus’s national positions for the upcoming Market Access Advisory Committee (MAAC) meeting scheduled for June 10, 2026.

As part of this process, the European Commission will review the market access situation for Australia and the United Kingdom, with particular attention to trade barriers impacting businesses and producers within the European Union.

Businesses operating or exporting to these markets are encouraged to review the attached lists of trade barriers and report any obstacles that continue to affect their operations.
